A thriving koala corridor in NSW

Our Nimbin Koala Corridor project on Widjabul Country, NSW, is flourishing! Now in its third year of monitoring, this 33-hectare restoration effort connects vital bushland and provides a safe haven for endangered species, including koalas. With a 97% tree survival rate, a 94% increase in tree height, and growing biodiversity, this project is proving to be a game-changer for local wildlife. Huge thanks to our partners, Future Forests, for their dedication to this site over the years. 

Meet Harry: our youngest recurring donor

At just 8 years old, Harry told his mum he wanted trees planted for his birthday instead of gifts. Since 2021, Harry’s family has donated in his honour every year. This year, 12-year old Harry has helped plant 595 trees to date. Thank you to the Wang family for inspiring us all. 

How community pocket forests are transforming urban spaces

Australia’s cities are growing rapidly, but with urban expansion comes a critical challenge – how do we maintain green spaces that support biodiversity, improve community wellbeing, and support climate adaptation? The answer lies in urban greening initiatives like community pocket forests, or other scientifically backed frameworks such as the 3+30+300 Rule.
